The family was further complicated by Nick, Jessica's Mum's boyfriend. Nick had brought his family; his two brothers George and Alex, and his mother.

Tim, with his usual accuracy explained the brothers to me. Nick, was also known as "The Count." "I love to count! Ha ha ha haaaa!" Apparently he loved to count. I saw no evidence of this the whole weekend. Next, George, loved to spell. And when it came to the crunch, Alex loved to sound things out. "Ha-Py New-Ye-Ar!"

Then Jessica gave me another story about Alex (She insisted that Tim was just joking), Alex talks a lot. "Don't meet his eyes," Jessica warned, "he'll start talking to you and he won't stop!"
